4th of July cookies

This recipe was made with organic ingredients and lots of love

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup oat flour organic
  • 1 ¼ cup brown rice flour organic
  • ½ cup oat bran organic
  • ½ cup strawberries fresh or frozen, organic
  • ½ cup blueberries fresh or frozen, organic
  • 2 Tbs. honey organic
  • 1 med egg
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Puree strawberries and blueberries in a food processor.
    Combine all ingredients together and mix until a dough forms. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to ¼” thickness.
    Use any patriotic cookie cutter, or a knife to cut into shapes. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet (they can be rather close together as they don’t grow much while cooking).
    Bake 20-25 minutes. Transfer and let cool completely on a wire rack. Store the cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Shelf life 2 weeks. Have a great day!
